Wird and evrâd ورد
A wird is a set of divine names, Qur'anic verses and prayers recited at fixed times as a spiritual duty; the plural, awrād, is the Turkish evrâd. A ḥizb is a portion recited by habit, later used in nearly the same sense.
The litanies of the Pîr
The Pîr's own book of litanies, al-Aḥzāb al-Rifāʿiyya, is listed as lost. What the communities recite today comes down through later compilers. Samarrâî gathered the Pîr's aḥzāb and awrād from the books of later Rifāʿī masters, especially Ibrāhīm al-Rāwī. Kenan Rifâî added fifty-two of the Pîr's ḥizbs to his Turkish life of the founder.
Collections in the library

- Salât-ı Kemâliyye Şerhi — a commentary by Sheikh Nûri er-Rifâî of Üsküdar

The texts of the litanies are not reproduced here. In the tradition a wird is received from a guide, who sets its times and amounts; and these editions are copyrighted.
